2025 will be an exciting year for my figs. As a small fig cultivator, I strive each year to offer a wide selection of fig trees. The process is straightforward: I buy cuttings, root them, up-pot them, and then sell them. Simple as that!
The indoor and outdoor space is limited, but the inspiration is boundless. For the 2025 season I have the following varieties to offer:
- Red Lebanese
- Brown Turkey
- Chicago Hardy
- Violette de Bordeaux
- Pastilliere
- Campaniere
- Lattarula, Italian Honey
- Col de Dame Noir
- Petite Negra
- Magnolia/Brunswick
- And several unknown varieties.
I have a fig tree labeled ‘unknown’ planted in my backyard that is an incredibly prolific producer of delicious fruit. In the fall of 2024, I was able to take over 50 cuttings from it—sweet! This tree has quickly become my absolute favorite variety.
