Pruned a Neighbor’s Fig Tree

This morning I pruned a neighbor’s fig tree. I’ve been pruning this tree for several years and my neighbor lets me keep the cuttings. As you can see this fig bush has grown quite a lot this year.

I brought the branches home, cut them to root them, and although I haven’t counted them, there are about 100 or so. A few branches had grown very long, were near the ground, and had developed roots, which I preserved as I pruned them. These were the first ones I processed at home, and I’ll post about them soon. You can see the roots on the cutting inside the plastic bucket on the right. Sweet roots, right?
