If you have to prune several trees, and each tree has 10 to 30 branches, having a battery-operated pruner is a great idea. The purchase was a bit stressful, but I survived it. I went to a local big-box store where they had them in stock and bought their very last pruner. The box contained the pruner but not the battery. I noticed they had a great sale on a two-battery package that seemed like a no-brainer, but of course, there was no one available to answer questions or offer advice. The package didn’t include the device to charge the battery. Finally, I bought a battery package that included the charger. I miss the local hardware store just down the street, where I could deal directly with the owner, who was always helpful and knew my name. But I digress.
I must say that this pruner works great and the battery lasts forever and a half.
