This ain’t no Glengarry Glen Ross plot development, but as it applies to fig cultivation I can say that you should Always Be Checking! Yes! Well, keep reading.
I have a Facebook account and I have joined several local sales groups. I check Facebook periodically and I saw the following ad just a few minutes ago.

$20 is a steal for that item!
A concrete curing blanket is a tarp-like cover that’s placed over freshly poured concrete to help it cure and develop strength.
Purpose
Regulates temperature: Maintains a consistent temperature and moisture level.
Protects from weather: Keeps concrete protected from cold air temperatures and inclement weather.
How they work
Lock in heat while keeping cold out.
Retain moisture, creating an optimal environment for concrete to cure.
Help maintain the moisture content and prevent the concrete from becoming brittle.
YES! I do use these blankets (ref 1, ref 2) because they are heavier than tarps and provide better protection for my figs.
