Upcoming Free Workshops

I am in the final stages of collaborating with several local libraries in Dutchess and Orange counties to organize engaging workshops about fig cultivation. These workshops will provide attendees with valuable insights into the history of figs, their cultural significance, and practical knowledge on growing and maintaining fig trees. Topics will include propagation techniques, pruning methods, winterizing strategies, and tips for maximizing fruit production.

Each workshop will be tailored to the interests of the local community, and participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and connect with fellow gardening enthusiasts. As a special bonus, every participant will receive a rooted fig cutting to help kick start their own fig-growing journey. I’m excited to partner with these libraries to bring this unique learning experience to the community and foster a deeper appreciation for fig cultivation.
