Hello Cragsmoor Free Library

Today, I led a discussion about growing figs at the Cragsmoor Free Library in Ulster County, NY.

Let me begin by saying that the library itself was absolutely magnificent. The artwork displayed throughout the room added warmth and character, the architecture was both elegant and inviting, and then there was that breathtaking fireplace that seemed to command attention the moment you entered. The entire setting created an atmosphere that was both beautiful and inspiring.

In the above picture I am explaining the benefits of using the Ruth Stout-type of gardening.

Here is our group photo, taken after everyone received a fig tree of their own. Moments like these remind me how rewarding it is to share the joy of growing figs with others.

It brings me tremendous joy to spend time with people who share a curiosity and passion for growing fig trees. There’s something special about gathering with fellow enthusiasts, exchanging ideas, asking questions, and learning together. I truly hope this is only the beginning of a lasting relationship and a growing community of fig lovers. Happy growing, and may your fig trees reward you generously!

I decided to name my little fig tree Baby. 🙂
